Be a part of Cann Hall CAN!

Cann Hall CAN! is a new community initiative in Cann Hall ward in Leytonstone, tackling climate change in our local area. CAN! stands for Climate Action Network. We believe that by acting together, we can reduce our impact on the environment, as well as help to build a strong local community. We hope that you will meet your neighbours at the events that we are organising, and continue to meet share what you are doing - from vegetable growing in front gardens, to loft insulation, to taking part in family bike rides. This website provides another way to be part of the community - so sign up to become a member, share what interests you and start a discussion on the forum. This is your website!

Things to do if you are new to Cann Hall CAN!

1. Create a profile
Become a member and create a profile. Share what interests you and your vision for a greener Cann Hall. Due to spam, we will now need to approve your membership, but we aim to do this as quickly as possible.

2. Invite your friends

Invite your friends who live in the area to join - the more people who are members, the more we can achieve.

3. Put events in your diary

Come along and meet people at our events - see the events diary.

4. Start a discussion

Inspired to start a local gardening group? Want to share top tips on draught-busting? Looking to find like-minded people to go cycling with? What actions have you taken to reduce your carbon footprint? Start a discussion about what interests you.
